• Best idea! Go visit the oldest trees in your area. Have students journal, draw, and reflect on the trees there. 
• Do a simulation. Go to a nearby forest and explain that they are to be cut down. Ask for student's reactions. 
• Do a silent sit in a forest. Have students record what they hear, think, and feel. Then share with the group. 
• No nearby forest? No problem. Take a virtual tour. Or a virtual reality tour.
